My favourite activity now: colouring, here I am putting back my colour pencils in my yellow box.

Me...me...me....

I'm 19 months old. Mami keeps saying that she can't believe how fast I've grown. What do I like to do lately?

1) Sing and jump and move. I love a particular DCD which plays some Christian songs. It's nice and I would sing and jump and move around. If I want to watch the DVD, I would just say "Arise" because the song title is "Arise".

2) I love to eat. Yum...yum.....yummy.....yum.

3) I love books and flashcards. I don't get to see flashcards all the time. Only during the weekends when I'm with Mami. During the weekdays, I'm in grandaunt's house. I am able to recognise words of colours (red, blue, green, yellow, purple) and animals (zebra, monkey, rabbit, dog, cat). I can also recognise some Chinese words which are family members in mandarin.

4) I'm still on the pacifier......oops.... It's actually one of the way to stop me from eating. Mami and grandaunt are trying to wean me off it.

Me Singing....

I made Mami very happy today. Mami has been missing me because I've not gone home for more than 1 week. Mami calls me everyday at Ku Poh's house. Everytime she calls, I would only listen over the phone and would be silent. I don't know what to say.

But today, it was special. I started singing some tune (which nobody understands) and Mami could hear me sing in the background while talking to Ku Poh over the phone. Mami and Ku Poh tried persuading me to sing over the phone but I was just too shy. Mami said it was good enough to make her happy. I'm sure Mami can't wait to see me this Saturday. Just 2 more days to go.

18 months old

I'm already 18 months old. Since Ah Mah was ill, Ku Poh has been taking care of me day & night during the weekdays. I would only go back during the weekends to see Dadi, Mami and Ben Ben Kor Kor.

I am a big boy now, loves to walk around the house. I am able to read and recognize some basic colours. Ku Poh had recently taught me some flashcards in Chinese. Mami says that I am growing up as a fine, adorable boy.

Mami likes to call me Koala Bear. I just love to latch like one....

Updates about ME

I am now 13 1/2 months old. I can't walk yet, but I can stand very well. Occasionally I catch myself walking 2 steps but I am just too frighten to continue.

I love to eat, eat and eat. If I see anyone eating, I'll crawl to the person for food. I love to clap my hands when I am happy.....especially when I watching my favourite DVDs. I love to move my bums and legs when I listen to my favourite songs. It's a way of showing that I love to dance. Generally, I am a very cheerful little boy.

Mami says that I am very fierce and demanding. If Mami scolds me, I would make a noise which sounds like I am scolding her back. If she beats me with her hand, I'll take my hand to beat her hand in return. I know it's not right. Mami would look into my eyes and say "No, Shaun! No! No!".

I am afraid of Dadi because he would always say "No!" to me. I love to stand right in-front of the TV when it's my favourite show and Dadi will say "No, Shaun!" and carry me away.

I overheard Mami saying to Ah Mah the other day that she wants to discipline me with the cane soon. Hhm.... I wonder what it means by the "cane".

Hello...hello

I love to play with the house phone. Love to press the buttons which has sounds.... Sometimes, i would take anything that may look like a telephone and practice answering the phone.

Me...Me...Me...

Mami says that I look so adorable, it's hard to believe that I can be very fierce as well. I'm a sweet and adorable boy....... Look at me when Mami was talking to me....




But when I want something from Kor Kor which I can't get, I'll do this....

Me Big Boy Already

I haven't started walking on my own, but I'm almost there. These pictures were taken before going to church. Mami said I looked like a big boy already.

What I love to play ...

I love to flip books. Particularly love this Ladybird Baby Touch book which I inherited from my Ben Ben Kor Kor. It's nice. Each page has a different texture to touch.


I love to push big cars. Again inherited these from my Ben Ben Kor Kor.

I love to watch TV too. But I dislike baby VCDs like Baby Einstein or Brainy Baby. My favourite.. . . Hi 5 and an Integrity Music Home Video which has a favourite song..... "ARISE". This is the only song which i like.

My best friend.... Chut-chut

I still love my Chut-Chut. I love to play with it more than anything else.... You will also notice that i love to cross my legs while playing with my Chut-chut.

Sleepy me...

Another Birthday Cake

Am so fortunate. Dadi and Mami bought another Mickey Mouse Birthday Cake. It was a cake to be brought to Ku Poh's house so that she and her family and my other friends can celebrate together on my actual birthday date..... 25th Feb.

Baby Dedication

There was a Baby Dedication service last Sunday in church. 2 babies were dedicated and I was one of them. During the service, Dadi read a beautiful dedication poem to me. Was so glad that Yeh Yeh and Mah Mah were also here from Ipoh to witness the service.

Wonderful weekend

Had a wonderful weekend. The best ever. Yeh Yeh and Mah Mah came down from Ipoh. On Saturday night, everyone celebrated my birthday. Besides that, had many other important people who played an important part of my life. Will tell you why.....

1) Dadi & Mami & Ben Ben Kor kor(for obvious reasons)
2) Ah Mah - who takes care of me at night and during weekends & cooks me good yummy yummy food.
3) Ku Poh & family - who is my caretaker during the day.
4) Grandaunty Siew Lee & family - who fetches me back from Ku Poh's house when Mami & Dadi work late
5) Ah Ku & Ah Kim & family - who also fetches me back from Ku Poh's house when Mami & Dadi work late. They also buy me good fish to eat onces in a while... Yummy yumm yumm.

Am so fortunate to have them love me so much. They were all in my birthday party at Parkroyal Hotel.

It was great fun. The hotel even surprised all of us with a life band entertaining us with good music and they surrounded me with many Happy Birthday songs.

Birthday suit...

I was dressed up by Mami earlier on a Birthday suit. I thought it was mine, but then I overheard that it was Ben Ben Kor Kor's previous 1st Birthday suit. Mami just wanted me to take a photo with the shirt to compare if I looked like Ben Ben Kor Kor. Don't think so....

My birthday is just round the corner. My Yeh Yeh and Mah Mah will be here in KL from Ipoh to celebrate 2 events:

1) My 1st birthday this Saturday night with family members and some relatives
2) Baby Dedication this Sunday morning in church.

Mami is pressuring me to try to stand on my own but I just seem to fall whenever I try. But I am very good at clapping my hands. I love to hear a particular song "Arise" by Don Moen - Integrity Music. When Koko plays the DVD of the song on TV, i would sit attentively to listen and clap my hands.

Guess Dadi and Mami would have a busy weekend ahead. I must be a good boy, otherwise Mami will put me into my prison cell (there I go into my baby cot upstairs or into my playpen downstairs). Whenever Mami or Ah Mah is angry with me, I'll go straight there and will be left all alone.... Sad huh? Mami says this is call "my punishment". I wonder what that means?

I love my Kor Kor

I just love to play with my Kor Kor. He is so funny and nice to look at. Everytime when Kor Kor calls me, i would giggle. See how much I love him.....



And poor Dadi. Dadi wanted Mami to take a photograph of us together, but Mami decided to take the photograph without him. Not my fault Dadi. I didn't do anything to Mami, ok?
