I am 5 now

I have just turned 5 on Monday and Mami has noticed a significant change in me.

I had always been paranoid over being late to my preschool everyday. Everyday, I would whine and cry once my Mami comes back from dropping Kor kor off from school. Mami would have to spend time convincing me that I am not late for school.

On the day after my birthday, I decided to make Mami proud of me. I did not cry or rushed Mami to fetch me to school. Instead, I remained cheerful and went to school happily. I have been consistently cheerful for the entire week. Mami prays that I would continue to mature and be as cheerful as I can be.

Me from January 2013

It has been so long since this blog was updated. The family has been busy since the year started.

How have I been? I have been going to the same kindergarden as last year. Nevertheless, I cried almost everyday for two weeks. It was just small little tears leaving home.

I started two new lessons in the month of January.

Benjamin Kor Kor and I started learning swimming. It is an individual class, 30 minutes for each person. I have been slow in my progress because I refused to put my head into the water. Swimming is no fun for me.

I also started my individual electone lesson with Kor Kor's electone teacher. I find him very nice and I am enjoying his lessons. He comes to the house to teach me once a week.

Although I am turning five next month, I am attending the 6 years old class in my kindergarden. Mami has decided to start me early for Primary One next year. I have been registered to the same school as Kor Kor. Mami is stressed up preparing me for the entrance exam this June. I need to pass my entrance exam to be accepted for Primary One in year 2014.

This year looks like a busy year for me. I am still as happy-go-lucky as ever. This is what makes me so lovable.

My friend, Angie

Our cell group had a combined pot bless with another cell group. We went to Aunty Lee Meng's house for pot bless. I met a new friend by the name of Angie. I loved her so much. She was so obedient and friendly. Her strength is photo taking. Come see me and my cousins with her.

Batik Painting

Kor Kor and I love doing arts and crafts or painting.

Quite some time ago, Mami bought these Batik Painting materials from a SandArt stall from Jusco, Ipoh. The stall is near the Guardian or Bata Shoplots. It cost RM13.00 per piece. Suitable for ages 3 and above. It comes with a tube of watery paint and a paint brush.

This is mine

This is Kor Kor's

It took us about an hour to complete this batik painting. It is really very easy. Quite mess free, suitable to keep us busy during this school holidays. Mami would be looking for this in KL so that we can do more of this at home. Otherwise, we would have to travel back to Ipoh to buy this.

Here are more pictures to share.

My Masterpiece

Mami commented that I have good colouring skills for a 4 years old boy.

Mami, Kor Kor and I have been exposed to the Plants versus Zombies game recently by Dadi. We love the game. It was drawing time for us yesterday, and I decided to draw the sunflower as seen from the game. Mami had to draw the sunflower for me. I then coloured the picture. I was so proud of the picture till I hung it on my room door.

My Little Excuse : Afraid of Monster

I had my music lesson last night. Mami was looking forward for yesterday to see if I would cry in Yamaha Class again when I am called out to sing. What do you think?

Yes, I cried again. I just could not hold on to my tears. My teacher was understanding enough and called another friend to hug me and sang with me. I stopped crying when my friend came out with me to sing.

Did Mami caned me at home? I told Mami that I did sing. Mami said that the deal was to sing alone. So, she wanted to cane me.

I immediately told her "Mami, I want to tell you the truth why I cried. You said that you would not cane me if I tell the truth (this was from other incident when he wanted to lie to me). So, I shall tell you the truth."

Mami replied that she would consider after hearing from me. I said "Mami, I did not want to sing because if I did, the monster would come and eat my friends. Then, there would be no more music class." I also told Mami that I wasn't scared of singing. I feel it is boring to sing. I don't like to sing. I only liked to play the electone.

Dadi heard this conversation in the car on the way home. He said he would give me 100 marks for imagination.

Did Mami caned me in the end? No, she did not. She gave me one last warning and if I ever cry again, she would cane me. She told me that she was disappointed that I lied about the monster. She asked me if I believed that monsters are real and I shaked my head. I knew it was just an excuse and it was a lie. I said sorry and Mami gave me a hug.
