Barney I LOVE YOU song

My Kor Kor and I playing the I LOVE YOU song.

Amazing Birthday Party

Kor Kor and I went to the most amazing birthday party on Malaysia Day. My preschool friend, Adam celebrated his 6th birthday at Redbox, Gardens. It was our first experience there. There were lots of balloons, singing and dancing. There was a clown who entertained us with funny jokes and tricks. After two to three hours of fun activities at Redbox, we entered Kids eWorld to play for another hour. It was the most amazing birthday party for Kor Kor and I. Sorry as Mami had forgotten to bring her camera to snap some photos. I would have loved to share them with you.

Toy Soldiers

Last year, I received a set of toy soldiers for my Christmas present from my brother's "Kai Yeh". I was so proud of it till I labelled the box with my name. I had to ensure that it was mine.......and not ...... you know who.

This seems to be one of my Kor Kor's favourite toy. Kor Kor had his own set earlier, but mine was certainly better in terms of variety and quality.

Here is a small photo of my toy soldiers and my toy box.

Mami did not manage to capture all my toy soldiers.
It was scattered everywhere, making it difficult to capture
all in a photo.

Should I, or should I not..

I am turning 5 years old next February. Mami asked me if I wanted to start learning the electone, just like my Kor Kor. Kor Kor started learning the electone when he was 5 years old.

I started attending Yamaha Junior Music Course (JMC) when I was 3 years and 8 months old. I am now in JMC 3. My Kor Kor started his JMC lessons at the age of 4 1/2 and he is now in JXC 3.

A teacher from Yamaha Music teaches my Kor Kor once a week at our home. Kor Kor has been progressing very well since he started. He enjoys the electone very much. I am sure he prefers the electone over the piano.

I am also keen to learn the electone. The electone has fun rhythm and sounds to play with.  I told Mami that I would want to learn the electone too. However, I am not sure because I am fearful that there would be too many songs to practice. After observing my Kor Kor, he has to practice pieces from his Yamaha JXC 3 and his individual electone lessons. It would take him at least one full hour each day to practice all of them. I doubt I can be as discipline as my Kor Kor.

Should I, or should I not?

Colours of Life

Mami has finally completed the painting.

I asked Mami why she painted this for us. She answered "I want to do something with my own hands for my beloved boys. Something that both of you can remember and cherish for the rest of your lifes".

The title of the painting is called "Colours of Life". It is a picture of many different musical expressions. Music has always been very close to the hearts of my Kor Kor and I. We sing, dance and play music together everyday. There is never a moment each day without it.

Presenting.......Colours of Life

A painting just for my brother and I

Some of you would have read my Kor Kor's blog about DIY painting. Mami had started her work on it. Kor Kor was really touched when Mami told us that she wanted to paint this picture as a present for both of us. It has not been easy for Mami to paint this. She has never liked painting, and claimed that she was never good at art during her school days.

This is Mami's first day of painting

3 brushes provided in the set

Kor Kor and I will share with you the final outcome when the painting is completed. I think it would take a while. Mami started being lazy, but she has almost completed it.
