Kor Kor and I love Cars2 movie. Previously Mah Mah bought us a Cars2 DVD and since then, we have been watching it over and over and over and over and over again. We can even watch the DVD twice or three times a day on a non-school day. Dadi and Mami have been complaining over it. We just love Cars2 movie.

Common question on every school day

I wish I didn't need to go to school. I wake up very early every morning. The earliest would be at 6:30 a.m. when my Kor Kor wakes up for school. Most of the time, I am awake latest by 6:45 a.m.

I am eager to wake up, but not eager to go to school. I would wake up on my own, go downstairs and there I will see my Kor Kor eating his cereal at the dining table, with Mami beside him. Once I am downstairs, I would normally give Mami a hug, and will head to the living room sofa to wait for my milk. I would drink my milk while watching the TV. I know it's a habit which is not good, but I love to watch TV.

Mami goes out with Kor Kor once he is ready. Kor Kor is always ready very early. I would take my own sweet time to drink my milk. My Kakak will then feed me cereal once Mami and Kor Kor have left for school.

Every morning when Mami fetches me to school, I would ask Mami the same question over and over again "Mami will fetch me to school and Uncle Van will fetch me home, issit?" I would always ask this question to get the assurance that I will be back early. The reason is because previously when Mami was working, I had to stay in the school for daycare. I had to take a nap in school. I would want Mami to assure me that I would come back after my Mandarin lessons in school.

I am happy that Mami is no longer working. I dislike sleeping in school. I would always tell Mami that I misses her. I am always good at winning Mami's heart :)

Playing by Ear

I am only 3, turning 4 end of this month and Mami is amazed that I am able to play by ear. I love to irritate my Kor Kor by listening to the songs he play on the Electone and I'll try to play the song a little.

Today is another day that I cried, not wanting to go to school. I cried due to two reasons. The first reason was because I was still feeling tired, and I refused to go back to sleep. I woke up at 6:15 a.m., the same time as my Kor Kor. I refused to go back to sleep. Secondly, Mami told me that Uncle Tang is coming to fetch me back from school at the usual time. I didn't want Uncle to fetch me. I wanted Mami to fetch me home.

I kept telling Mami that I do not want to go anywhere today. I just want to stay at home.

I had colouring homework today. It is my first homework from my kindergarden.

I was very reluctant to do my homework. I complained... and complained.....and complained....

I managed to ask Benjamin Kor Kor to do my colouring on behalf. While Kor Kor was colouring, I was busy playing with rulers.

Mami was really unhappy with me. Benjamin Kor Kor was so tired and he was waiting for his Mandarin tuition teacher to come. In the end, Mami insisted that Kor Kor only coloured half the picture. I was forced to colour the remaining.

Everyday, Mami would ask me.... "Shaun Shaun, is there homework today?". I would just ignore her. Mami has to then check my school file to see if there is any. She has been disappointed all the time.

Mami is beginning to worry about me in the kindergarden. I am smart and have great potential. But I do not like to do written homework. I would normally resist if Mami gives me additional work to do at home. I would only agree if it was a colouring homework. So, given this kindergarden of mine, she is worried that I would continue to be lazy, with no competitive spirit to excel in school. We don't have any exams in the kindergarden.

Mami is beginning to question her choice of kindergarden. She is contemplating if she should switch me to the Chinese-based Kindergarden which Benjamin Kor Kor studied last year. It is more competitive and exam based. It has lots of homework and the standard of Chinese is much higher. Teachers are good as well. Mami is just indecisive because she is worried that it would be difficult for me to adapt when I go Primary One. This is because the kindergarden covers everything in Chinese, wherelse my Primary One school covers everything in BM. Would it be difficult for me to switch Maths and Science from Chinese to BM?

Mami will continue to pray about it and decide later. I certainly would prefer not to change kindergarden. I love my kindergarden. It would be a cultural shock for me to go to a Chinese-based kindergarden.

My first day to Kindies

I will be turning 4 years old next month and I went back to the same kindergarden as last year. The school is no stranger to me, but I cried on my first day to school.

Mami was really busy on the 1st day school reopened. She went with Benjamin Kor Kor to school on his 1st day. During his assembly time, Mami rushed home to fetch me to my kindergarden.

I guess I cried for two reasons. The first was because Mami was not around to prepare me for kindergarden in the morning. When I woke up, I was looking for Mami all around the house, but she was no where to be found. I was forced to take my bath and eat cereal by Kakak. Suddenly, Mami came with her car and I was expected to just hop right into her car and off she drove to my kindergarden.

It was in the car that I told Mami "Mami, I want to miss you. I don't want to go to school. I love you Mami, I want to miss you all the time". Mami explained to me that every child must go to school. I started crying then.

When I arrived, I went down obediently from the car. Still in tears, but much lesser. I am normally not very "long-winded" in crying. Within 5 minutes in the kindergarden, I started playing with my friends and I was back to my normal self.

Mami did not come to fetch me home. Dadi came because Mami was in Benjamin's school. Mami had to help Kor Kor find the aunty who is supposed to fetch Kor Kor back from school everyday. My kindergarden and Kor Kor's school end about the same time.

I cried again looking for Mami. I kept asking where Mami was and why Mami didn't come and fetch me. I was quite upset. Dadi promised me that Mami would be fetching me home the next day.

Ah Mah was at home to prepare me for my afternoon nap. I am not used to having Ah Mah putting me to sleep. It has always been Mami, Mami and Mami. In bed, I kept telling Ah Mah "You know..... I miss Mami you know. I want to miss Mami you know...". Eventually I slept. When I woke up from my nap, I saw Mami. I ran to her and hugged her. I asked her "Why Mami never fetch Shaun Shaun. You must fetch Shaun Shaun....". Mami hugged me and I was happy.

My first day of school was ok. I guess it helps with familiar environment, familiar teachers and familiar friends.

Viva Home

It's still a holiday today. Thank God there is no school because I certainly dislike school. I just love to "Kai-Kai".

We went to Viva Home today. It is our 2nd time to this shopping mall and is certainly not my favourite place to go. It is a place more suited if you want to buy household materials and things. Dadi and Mami wanted to go there just to buy new lights for our living room.

The mall is spacious and we were surprised to see the Christmas decorations still up. I thought Christmas was already over. Since Mami had her camera, we decided to take some pictures and guess who I was posing as?

We walked quite a fair bit to look for lights. This is me in the Lighting shop. I was doing a little "dance" with my hankerchief. I just can't stay still wherever I am.

We had lunch at Viva Home at Steam Room. The food is not too bad.

There was a Play Land at Viva Home at Level 3. No entrance fees, but we didn't have our socks with us. So, Mami promised us that we will play the next round we are there.

I love magic pens

I prefer to use magic pens than colouring pencils. I know that I need to use colouring pencils to colour pictures. I would use magic pens to write or draw.

I do not know how to draw many things, but I do like to write the same words over and over again with different colours. Sometimes I may not know how to spell some words. So, if you are guiding me in spelling them, be sure you do it correctly and carefully. If you tell me the wrong alphabet resulting in me writing it wrongly, I would be very frustrated because do not allow any mistakes. I would take another piece of paper and rewrite the whole thing. Mami would always complain that I'm wasting alot of papers.

Monkey Bars

Dadi and Mami have been taking me to the park lately, mainly to teach kor kor to cycle and for me to cycle and exercise at the same time... Ah Mah is complaining that I am too fat :(

Anyways, there are monkey bars in the playground and I like to swing on them... However Mami and Dadi says I am causing them heart attack, because I will totally ignore all safety rules. I will just climb up the short stairs and start on the monkey bars even though I can barely reach the bars. Mami and Dadi will have to run after me and catch me before I jump off the stairs and onto the Monkey bars... all very dramatic, but extremely fun for me... kek kek kek....

Dadi and Mami must be really exhausted taking care of me.

And Happy New Year to everyone. I don't quite understand what it means, but I have been asked by Dadi and Mami to greet anyone I see in church "Happy New Year".

My favourite toy as at today - Bulkhead, Transformers

I love to play Transformers and my favourite is the green Bulkhead. It looks like an army car, but it's pretty cool. I don't quite know how to transform it back and forth, but Mami helps me with it.

This Bulkhead belongs to my Kor Kor. Mami had bought this for Kor Kor a long time ago. She was convinced by an ex-colleague that this model is perhaps the easiest Transformer to transform and she wanted Kor Kor to learn how to transform it. Furthermore, the quality of this Transformer is really good. It belongs to the old range of the Animated series.

I am fortunate that Kor Kor does not fancy this Bulkhead. So, I guess I'll inherit this and it is really my favourite toy now. I would take this Bulkhead to sleep everyday.

I want Oreos

I have been coughing since I came back from Hong Kong. The doctor said that it was due to nose sensitivity. Perhaps the ice creams I ate caused it, because I am lactose intolerant.

I wanted to eat Oreos last nite. I really love Oreos and Mami didn't allow me to even take one piece of it.

I was determined and had my way. Do you know what I did?

First, I told Mami that she looks nice like a Mami. She doesn't look like a lion or a tiger. I hugged her and kissed her.

Then, I surprised her with a drawing. This is what I drew.

Oh... Initially I did not write the words or drawing in blue. When Dadi saw the drawing, Dadi asked "what about me?". So, I added the word "dad" and the "stick man" in a different colour. The green and blue colours meant something. I like green and I wanted Mami to like green too. Ben Kor Kor likes blue and I would want Dadi to like blue colour too. I have always paired Mami with meself and Dadi with my Ben Ben Kor Kor.

Mami was so happy with my drawing. She hugged and kissed me again and a miracle happened.

Mami said "OK Shaun. Since you are so sweet to Mami, I'll give you only ONE oreo to eat."

Hooray! I was delighted. Thank God for making me "charming".

Hong Kong Disneyland

I just came back from Hong Kong. We had a super duper, super nice trip with my grandparents, parents and Benjamin Kor Kor.

I love Disneyland. I love walking around on my own. I love hopping and jumping. I love BUBBLES. There were bubbles all around. I simply love catching them.

It wasn't quite crowded on our 1st day to Disneyland. It was a Thursday, and I guess there wasn't any weekend crowd. The weather was great too.

Off to Gardens for another mission

Once again, we had to go hunting for Ashley Cheh Cheh's present. It seems like we are always buying a present for her. Once we had to go because Mami had to buy her a Christmas present. Then we had to go again recently because Ah Mah had to buy her a Christmas present. On Friday, Mami said that we had to go hunting for another present for Ashley Cheh Cheh again. Why? Why? Why?

So off we went to Gardens on Friday. Apparently Ashley Cheh Cheh's birthday is in January and Ah Mah and Mami needed to buy her a birthday present. Wah... Cheh Cheh is very fortunate that her birthday is coming soon. Mine is coming soon in February too....(hint...hint)

It was rather difficult to buy her a present. We walked, and walked and we couldn't find anything nice for her. Ah Mah managed to buy her a set of Enid Blyton books in Borders. There are quite a number of good bargains there.

Mami was quite disappointed as she has not found anything for Ashley Cheh Cheh. So, I guess I'll be hearing from Mami again on another mission to hunt for Ashley Cheh Cheh's present.

While we were there, Mami managed to snap some photos. She wasn't really in a mood for photography that day. She was busy thinking of what to buy instead.

Mami is amazed how fast her two little boys have grown. I am 3 years old but turning 4 in February 2012. Benjamin Kor Kor is 6 years old, turning 7 in April 2012.

And this was Kor Kor and I, long long long time ago ......

I am becoming more independent. I am able to change my own clothes. I would switch off the air-condition after my nap time on my own. I love to do anything which I am capable to do on my own.

Nevertheless, I would always remind Mami that I am her baby. I love when Mami cuddles me. The other day, we were playing grocery shopping at home, and I requested Mami to "buy" me. When she 'buys' me, she would carry me like a baby.

I still drink from the milk bottle. I would request for milk when I go anywhere e.g. to church, to cell group meetings, to concerts etc. There was once when I was watching Rio in the cinema, I requested for milk and I was holding my milk bottle for almost 2 hours. I guess it is not so much of the milk. I take comfort when I drink from the milk bottle.

I would always request for milk twice before bed. The first time, Mami would make about 4 or 5 ozs of milk. Once I've finished my milk, I would request for a second time. Mami would only make 1 oz in the same bottle. I don't mind the number of ozs, but I love to sleep with my milk bottle in my mouth. I can't seem to sleep without it.

Over the past few weeks, Mami has been trying to wean me off my milk bottle. She is starting by insisting that I drink only once at night. If I am tired, I would obediently agree. If I am still active in bed, it would be really difficult to agree with her.

I am not sure if I enjoy being a big boy, or perhaps I enjoy being a baby. All I know is that I would want to be Mami's baby for now.

2nd Christmas practice

I insisted for Benjamin Kor Kor to practice with me. So, here it goes....

Guess who was playing the piano......... It was ME! Benjamin Kor Kor was certainly not too happy because he wanted to play the piano.

Mami is amazed that I could play. Noone actually taught me how to play this song. I observed how my brother played. I started my Yamaha JMC Book 1 lessons in October recently and we have only been playing Do-Re-Mi-Fa-Mi-Re-Do using one hand. I certainly didn't learn it from my music teacher.

1st Christmas practice

This year's Christmas celebration in church would be different. Every member in the church are dedicating themselves for the ShoeBox project, hence there would be a slide show and short testimonies of the project.

Nevertheless, the children were requested to present a short song during Christmas service. So, Mami chose a familiar song for us ..... "Joy to the World".

So, here is our first practice last night in our house. Nicolas Kor Kor was playing the piano, Ashley Cheh Cheh with the tamborine and the singers were none other than Benjamin Kor Kor, Tobin Kor Kor and I. There would be another 2 children practising with us this Sunday.

"What day is today Mami?" . Once I received the answers, I would respond by saying..... "Monday no school ah?".....followed by "Yey!".

Bangsar Village

Mami and Ah Mah brought Kor Kor and I to Bangsar Village. Our main purpose was to buy Ashley Cheh Cheh's Christmas present. Ah Mah owed her a present. She requested for a Baby Alive. It was really nice. I wanted it too. But Ah Mah said that it was for girls.

Ah Mah was so kind hearted. She bought me a box of Lego Duplo. It was on 50% discount at Bangsar Village II.

I was so happy, I wanted to carry my Lego on my own.

I was excited to go home and play. I walked really fast.

Different from my Kor Kor

It is pretty interesting how I am very different from my big Kor Kor. One big difference would be that he is a Kor Kor and I am a TiTi.

Food.......

I love rice, but my Kor Kor loves noodles. It's difficult when we go out for lunch. Kor Kor would beg for noodles. Even at his age, he is able to eat a big plate of Wan Ton Mee, or Fried Kuey Teow.

I, on the other hand love rice. My favourite would be Chicken Rice!

Toys.......

I seem to like super heroes. I would sometimes act like one. I don't quite understand the different types of super heroes. I "accidently" switched on a Transformer DVD recently. So, I equate Transformers as super heroes. I like to hold my Optimus Prime Transformer and pretend to fight with any other figures which looks like super heroes.

My Kor Kor dislike Transformers. In fact, he is very fortunate to own some Transformers, of which I am certainly claiming it as mine from now onwards.

Colours.......

My favourite colour is GREEN. I love green. I love to colour my pictures green. I love green shirts and green car toys.

My Kor Kor loves blue. I know blue is a colour for boys. But I believe that green is better than blue. It's a colour for boys too.

Music.......

At the very least, we brothers love music. We love to play the piano and electone. However, we are different in terms of our music practices.

I dislike to practice the pieces taught in my Yamaha music class. It's boring to me. I love to play the piano on my own. I can already play some pieces with both hands, like Mary Had A Little Lamb, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Joy to the World. I played by ear. Noone taught me. I heard my brother playing and I learnt it all by myself. Mami was very impressed.

My Benjamin Kor Kor is always the obedient little one. He would practice over and over again to ensure that he is able to play the pieces, ready for his Music Class. In fact, he has more to practice as he learns Piano at Yamaha and Electone with another individual teacher. More pieces to practice, but he takes little effort in mastering the pieces.

Studies and Homework......

Needless to say, I dislike studying or doing any homework. I would always escape by convincing Mami to allow me to do colouring. It is part of my homework. Once I've coloured a page, I would happily take a sticker and paste it on my completed work.

While I am colouring, Mami would be busy coaching my Kor Kor. He spends a minimum of 2 hours each day on his studies by completing revision books.

There are many more differences between us, especially in our characters. I am certainly the more aggressive and stubborn one. However, there are also similarities between us. One would be that we love to go to Church and we certainly love our family to bits.

My colouring adventure

Dadi and Mami came back from the morning market with a Sponge Bob colouring & sticker book. I was really happy. Come and have a look at my beautiful book.

Then another surprise came with the book. It seems that Dadi received this sticker free. It's Transformer stickers. It really made me all excited to start my colouring adventure.

But I realised something was wrong. The Sponge Bob book came with colouring pages and stickers within the book. But my Transformers only came with the stickers. There were no colouring pages for me to use my stickers.

So, poor Mami......had to draw a transformer on an artblock and I then started my colouring activity.

I completed my "rainbow" coloured transformer and took a transformer sticker to paste it next to my picture. My sticker represents the completion of my beautiful colouring activity.

The right Preschool Workbook for me

Mami was so glad when I was willing to do this particular Preschool Workbook. She has been encouraging me to practice my alphabets, but most of the time I would refuse her.

Mami certainly did not give up me. She went to Popular Bookstore with my Kor Kor a few days ago and bought me this workbook. She asked me to do some exercises and to her surprise, I agreed to do 2 pages each time. Today is the 3rd day consecutively I have been doing the exercises as requested by Mami.

Transformers for Christmas

Ah Mah brought Kor Kor and I shopping to Toysrus, Great Eastern Mall. We specifically went there just to buy our Christmas present. We were free to choose anything we wanted, with no price limit :)

I immediately went to the Transformers section. Mami was quite surprise to see me interested in Transformers.

It was recently that I took out a hidden Transformer DVD. It seems that there was one at home and I wasn't sure why I have not seen it before. I watched it, and I loved it. Mami and Ah Mah were trying to limit my watching, but I managed to watch the show for about half an hour.

Since then, I would take out all my McDonald toys of super heros, pretending that they are all Transformers, fighting against each other.

I was glad that Mami and Ah Mah agreed to buy me one Transformer. I choose it myself. It cost RM49.90. This is my very first Transformer collection. Thank you Ah Mah for this Christmas Present.

My Colouring Skills

Mami has been trying to convince me to colour pictures in the correct colours. I have been refusing her. I love to colour all my pictures with rainbow colours. I love it to be super duper colourful.

As I was colouring the picture of the banana, I could hear Mami telling me "Shaun, what colour is a banana? Have you eaten a blue banana?". I ignored her totally.

There was a funfair organised by the Tadika last Saturday, so the teachers and students were given a day off today.

I was unusually happy to do some work given by Mami today. Somehow I was in a happy mood. Maybe it's because my Benjamin Kor Kor has gone to school, and I don't need to go to school. It's a nice, great feeling!

Why do I have to do Mami's homework?

Whenever Benjamin Kor Kor does his revision at home, Mami would ask me to come over to the table and do some exercises. My first response would me... "OK, Mami. I'll do some colouring first". Obediently, I would take my colouring books and do some colouring.

At each colouring pages, there would be words that are printed. Mami would request me to read them out loud for her. It's easy as I can already read very well. Once I'm done, I'll get a sticker to stick at the completed page.

Mami would not let me go away easily. She is fast in catching me and ensuring that I do some exercises. I would reluctantly do it and complain along the way. Nevertheless, I'll still complete them but I would insist to only complete a few pages. Here are some exercises I did yesterday....

To make it all worst, my Benjamin Kor Kor prepared some questions for me in an exercise book. I immediately ran away from the table and said that I'll complete them tomorrow. It's tomorrow's homework, not today.

Bye Bye! No homework for now....

I'm back to Mami's room ! Yey!

Don't get me wrong. It was not me who didn't want to sleep with Benjamin Kor Kor. It was Mami and Ah Mah do asked me to return to Mami's room. I agreed immediately without any hesitation.

They noticed that I had lesser sleep and have been waking up middle of the night to disturb Mami and Dadi. Dadi hasn't been sleeping well too.....although he was sleeping in his original room. Apparently, Dadi sleeps better in Kor Kor's room. Strange isn't it???

So, Dadi and I swapped places. Dadi with Benjamin Kor Kor in one room and; Mami and I in another room.

There is a Halloween party in my kindergarden today. Mami was not keen to spend money in buying any Halloween costume. She decided to dress me in a black t-shirt and orange shorts for the occasion. She also gave me a nice Halloween stick which can spin in the inside with bright colours when you press a button. It's really nice and colourful.

Dadi bought us Kinderjoy from Geneva. It's a Christmas edition and it really taste good. It looks like an Easter Egg and best of all, it has a round cap with a toy. The toy is coated with chocolate all around. Yum Yum. Wish I could have more....

We had 6 Kinderjoys in total. We only ate one each day, not to worry. The toys were different from the ones you get locally. There were Christmas Santa, Christmas Penguin, Rhinoceros, a Top, an Aeroplane and a cute small Paint Brush with some colouring fun!

Parents-Teacher Meeting at Tadika Suria Cerah

Dadi and Mami went for the Parents-Teacher Meeting at Tadika Suria Cerah yesterday morning. While Dadi and Mami met my teacher, Benjamin Kor Kor and I were doing some potatoes painting.

Teacher Leeza informed Dadi and Mami that I have improved emotionally. I am most willing to do the work given by my teacher now and I do participate actively in classes. I am able to read well, considering that I am only 3 years old, and am attending a 4 years old class. In fact, Teacher Leeza mentioned that I can read better than some 4 years old. I am a bright student and is able to join the 5 years old class next year.

I slept in my own room

I successfully slept in my own room yesterday. I did wake up at 3:00 a.m. to look for Mami in her room. I told her I was afraid to sleep in the other room. She was too tired and did not "layan" me. Dadi then had to bring me to the toilet to shee-shee and walked me to my room. I slept straight away as I was really tired.

Dadi and Mami were very proud of me. I wonder if there is a reward from them?

Mami is really worried for me. Though I have not turned 4 years old of age, but she is worried that I will not have the discipline to study. Whenever Kor Kor is studying in the room, I would also go to the room. But I'll only be there for about 15 minutes. I would volunteer to do some colouring. Once I've completed my colouring, I'll receive a sticker for my colouring book and........ there I go! Yey..... Mission completed!!!!! I'll rush off before Mami takes an English book or a Maths book for me to do.

I love Mami to cuddle me, and smell my hair. I love to ask her if my hair smells good. Mami would "sniff sniff" and reply "it smells very nice" and I'll give her a sweet, adorable smile :)

Every night, Mami would always comb my hair with her hands when I am drinking my bottle of milk (yes, I am still drinking for a milk bottle) or when I've fallen asleep. I know Mami still treats me like her little baby. It is nice being treated that way too. That is why I am so attached to Mami.

Last night, Benjamin Kor Kor and I couldn't sleep. It was way pass 10:30 p.m. and we were still moving around on bed. Mami said that she would sing us a good night song. She sang this song of blessings to us....

Which kindergarden will I go to....

Mami was previously thinking hard as to which kindergarden to enrol me for Year 2012. I am currently in a kindergarden which is more "montessori" like. There are lesser students to one teacher, more learning through play and certainly less homework. There are days when I do not have homework. No exams given :)

Mami was contemplating to enrol me to Benjamin Kor Kor's current kindergarden which is a traditional exam-oriented Chinese kindergarden. The syllabus is much tougher, more competitive and it prepares the child well for Primary One.

Given a choice, I would prefer to stay in my current kindergarden. Looking at the amount of homework Kor Kor does daily is terrifying to me. I dislike homework very much. In fact, I dislike studying. I can read well, but I am too lazy to practice writing. Few months back, Mami had enrolled me to Enopi Maths to join my Kor Kor, and I dropped out after 2 months. I refuse to go. Mami gave in to my request because she felt that maybe I'm just not ready. After all, I am only 3 years old.

I am glad that Mami had decided for me to continue learning at my current kindergarden. I know that Mami is worried for me.... worried if I will ever be serious with my studies. I am just so different from my Kor Kor. Well, Mami just have to trust that God will prepare me :)

Lego Duplo

Sometimes I like to play Lego Duplo with my Kor Kor, Benjamin. I am fortunate that I have alot of Lego Duplo. There are 3 sets of Lego Duplo. 2 sets of Lego were given by my Ah Ku and Ah Kim. One Animal Set was given to Benjamin Kor Kor during his 1st birthday and another Penguin Set was given to me for my 1st birthday. The last Numbers set was bought by my Mami for me as a reward for being a very very very good boy. But I can't seem to remember why I was good on that day.

My School Trip to Kids Theatre: The Selfish Crocodile

I went for a School Trip at the Gardner & Wife Kids Theatre, featuring The Selfish Crocodile. It was at Jaya One. It was nice, but I was a little afraid at some scenes especially when the Crocodile went on stage. Here are some photos....

1st JMC Primary One class

Yesterday was my first Junior Music Course at Yamaha Music School. It was quite fun. There are about 10 other children with their respective parents with them. We sang some songs, clapped and did certain hand movements with Mami/Dadi. Can't wait for the next class next week. Teacher said we will be able to play the Electone next week. Yey....

Mami and Dadi stressed me up while preparing me as a paige boy in Cheh Cheh Jasmine and Kor Kor Billy's wedding (church members). There were few rehearsals and I had to walk properly according to the music tempo with a flower girl, Abigail. Finally it's over. Yeh! No more stress from Mami and Dadi. I'm always reminded to walk properly, look straight to the front and SMILE.

Fun Thinkers from Grolier

Dadi and Mami bought for me Fun Thinkers from Grolier during their visit to the BookFest 2011. It is like a matching game. It cost RM500 for the entire set. It comes with 10 books with 25 exercises each and a frame of tiles. It's fun to do. Kor Kor also played with it because it had different level of difficulty. During the BookFest, Dadi managed to ask for an additional frame of tiles for free so that Kor Kor can have his own share of fun.

God has blessed me with a second child, Shaun.

Shaun has a different personality from his brother, Benjamin. He is aggressive at home, but timid when he is with unfamiliar crowd. Similarly, his voice is loud at home, but the reverse outside.

Shaun has a street-smart personality. He gets his ways around and is also quite manipulative. He has a sweet mouth. He is very generous to say "I love you Mami", "I love you very much, Mami", "I'll help you, Mami", but he sometimes have a second sentence following which he will quietly say "Don't scold me ah, Mami" or "Don't cane me ah, Mami". He is also very quick to say "I'm sorry, Mami", followed by "I say sorry already, Mami" when he does something wrong. With his sweet adorable voice, I sometimes find it difficult to respond to his punishment.

Shaun is a smart boy. He can read well at the age of 3. His writing and colouring skills are good for his age. However, he dislike studying and doing his homework. He requires alot of attention when it comes to completing his homework.

Shaun enjoys music. He has not started any music lessons but has displayed great interest in playing the piano. He will be starting music lessons at Yamaha Music School soon this October.

Unique as he is, he certainly has his ways to win my heart. Being the youngest, he would most of the time expects me to shower him with many hugs and kisses. He sleeps with me, and would always want me to be with him wherever he goes. At times, he wants me to call him "Baby" so that he can be cuddled in my arms.

I thank God for this little baby child, Shaun.

I've got a secret weapon which works on Mami.

I have a sweet mouth for Mami. Everytime when Mami scolds me, I would quickly go to Mami and say... "I love you Mami, I love you very much. I am sorry Mami, You don't cane me ah....". Most of the time it works because of my "quick" reaction to say my "quick" words of "I am sorry Mami. I am sorry Mami, I love you Mami".

Dadi would sometimes remind Mami not to let me get away so easily from punishment because of my manipulative behaviour.
